Innovations

Group Pharma has always been at the forefront of oral care innovations, committed to bringing the best oral care science to India. A substantial portion of our operating revenues is dedicated to in-house R & D to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of oral care.

We currently possess 3 patents, which allow us to create products catering for unique customer needs. These products are emblematic of role as Indian oral care innovator.

To support our innovations and quest to be India’s best, we have collaborated with renowned international institutions like University of Colombia, Queen Mary University and Imperial College. We also have concurrent, short and long-standing relationships with universities across India in various facets – research, partnerships, scholarships, and internships.

We don’t just work on new products. We also review and improve our current product suite. We are in the process of upgrading our entire product range to make them SLS and parabens free. This will make them safer for our customers and our environment alike.

GP has built up considerable Intellectual Property (IP) over the years. We have translated knowledge into products that help our consumers alleviate their current conditions and ward off recurring issues. All this has been made possible because we ideated, researched, developed and manufactured our own products.

Manufacturing and Quality

Having our own manufacturing facilities allows us to ensure that we deliver what we commit. Most of our products are unique and challenging to manufacture. Having control over them enables us to provide the highest quality products and be agile and adapt quickly to meet the ever-changing needs of the marketplace.

We have three facilities across India, manufacturing multiple dosage forms. Our facility at Tarapur, near Mumbai, is specially designed and equipped to manufacture moisture sensitive tablets requiring strict humidity control. Group Pharma was the first company in India to manufacture denture cleaning tablets.

Two of our manufacturing facilities at Malur in Karnataka (43 km from Bengaluru), are built in compliance with WHO guidelines. These facilities have been set up for the manufacture of toothpaste, gels, creams, syrups and mouthwash.

Quality Standards

Our facilities are cGMP, PIC/S and WHO compliant. Our internal SOPs are designed to be above the statutory requirements, enabling us to achieve several ISO certifications. We maintain the same rigor and process, whether they be drugs or cosmetics manufacturing

Our long-standing relationships with many large Indian and multinational companies; and our exports to over 60 countries, are a testament to our commitment to quality.

Marketing

The heart of any good business activity is its marketing and distribution strength. Our consistent growth can be attributed to expertise in this area. We have a committed and capable team of over 400 medical representatives guided by over 80 field managers who directly meet 80,000 plus doctors every month. They are in turn guided by our product and brand management teams, keeping our field staff trained and updated on the latest developments and best practices.

Our distribution network spans 200,000 retailers serviced by 16 C and F Agents and 800 stockists; enabling us to make our presence strongly felt in most states within India.
